Vice President, Andrews InternationalAs the Vice President, Consulting, Investigations and International for Andrews International, William "Bill" Besse's responsibilities include overall leadership and tactical delivery for the business development and service activities of the company's Consulting and Investigations (C&I) practice. Besse brings to his position more 30 years of experience in corporate security: developing, managing and implementing international security and risk mitigation programs. He boasts a blend of experience from intelligence, consulting, and public law enforcement communities. Before joining the firm's C&I Division, Besse served as director/corporate security for Belo Corp., one of the nation's largest media organisations, where he was responsible for corporate security strategy, programs and support. Prior to his employment at Belo, he served as managing director of global consulting services for IPSA International, Inc. In this capacity, he was responsible for planning and conducting all IPSA consultative engagements on a global basis, coordinating crisis management and response, investigations and litigation support for Fortune 500 companies, high-risk individuals and families, large international law firms and religious institutions. Besse's corporate security experience also includes manager/security for Motorola and global director of corporate security for The Mary Kay Corporation. Besse obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University, is a graduate of the U.S. Army Intelligence Center and School (Counterintelligence), and also is certified in Homeland Security by the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute and NIMS certified by the Department of Homeland Security.
