He has over 22 years of experience in software engineering, software sales, and software business management with a specialized focus on physical access control, logical access control, public key infrastructure, biometrics, and identity management. He has managed the development and successful deployment of high-profile systems for large-scale government and law enforcement identity management customers. David has a deep and specialized knowledge of FIPS 201 and its practical real-world usage in government, armed forces, and critical infrastructure deployments. In 2015, David expanded the design and feature set of the Identity One FIPSlink software to become a widely deployed GSA FICAM Certified and TWIC QTL-certified FIPS 201 validation and registration system. David has spoken at multiple industry events including the International Security Conference West (ISC West), Biometrics Institute Australia Conference, and local chapter events for ASIS International.
