Peter Ainsworth – General Manager for JCI ACVS Security Products for the Commercial/Distribution business. He has been in the industry for over 20 years, most of which in product management and product marketing. Prior to joining JCI four years ago, he spent 8 years as a Royal Marines Officer before getting involved in a Mine Clearance charity – The HALO trust – in Mozambique, Southern Africa. He then joined the Electronic security world with 13 years at Norbain SD and Vista, then 6 years at Samsung Techwin. His passion is championing and driving customer centricity, while his vision for his business is “To become the intelligent eyes and ears of smart cities, smart buildings and smart homes”. As part of his professional work he is a member of the IEC and sits on a couple of the working groups.
