Marisa Randazzo

As Executive Director of Threat Management and a member of the Ontic Center for Connected Intelligence, Dr. Randazzo provides strategic consulting, thought leadership, and best practices in behavioural threat assessment, threat management, and violence prevention for safety and security professionals at major corporations, educational institutions, and government agencies. Pior to Ontic, Dr. Randazzo was the Chief Executive Officer and founder of SIGMA Threat Management Associates LLC, acquired by Ontic in September 2021. At SIGMA, she oversaw all of SIGMA's threat assessment training and consulting operations as well as strategic initiatives, providing daily management and visionary leadership to all of SIGMA's work. She is an international expert on threat assessment and violence prevention, with over 25 years of experience investigating, assessing, and managing a broad array of threatening and dangerous situations. Before creating SIGMA, Dr. Randazzo served for ten years with the US Secret Service, most recently as Chief Research Psychologist, and has co-authored several leading books on threat assessment. She frequently provides commentary to major news outlets on all aspects of violent behaviour and prevention and is a host of Women Who Protect, a series of the Ontic Protective Intelligence Podcast.
