Dedicated Micros - part of AD Group - announces the launch of DV-IP Express, an advanced entry-level, network DVR. This extremely capable desktop solution brings together high frame rate recording with real-time 'live' multi-screen viewing in a cost-effective surveillance package. The introduction of the NetVu Connected DV-IP Express by Dedicated Micros significantly extends the reach of its DV-IP product family, especially for smaller applications.  The new DV-IP Express is particularly suited to applications where it is desirable to deploy a low-cost, real-time, CCTV system or to economically and practically upgrade an existing surveillance solution. In operation the DV-IP Express, which is available in 8, 12 and 16 input models, is capable of offering CIF recording at up to 25pps/30pps on each channel in MJPEG or MPEG-4 and at up to 7pps for 4CIF recording. To deliver maximum viewing flexibility, the desktop DV-IP Express has been designed to support display in full-screen, quad and a variety of multi-screen formats, all of which have real-time updates in 'live mode'. Dedicated Micros is launching Eco9, a 9-channel variant of its Eco family of DVRs which has consistently proved to be a popular option with smaller businesses such as convenience stores.  Interest in the new the Eco9 is extremely high and already Gardiner Security has signed-up to an exclusive agreement with DM to promote and distribute the Eco9 across the UK and mainland Europe. The Eco9 is priced to compete with traditional VCR/Multiplexer combinations, offering an affordable introduction to the benefits of digital recording for small, often independent, business owners, doing away with the tape management issues associated with traditional analogue CCTV solutions. As with the Eco4, which was introduced last year, the new ‘plug and play’ Eco9 has been designed with ease of use in mind, having been configured to time-lapse record straight out of the box by automatically detecting connected cameras on power-up.  Covert camera support ensures that staff pilferage can be minimised in a fast moving retail environment, and a spot monitor acts as a visible deterrent. CCTV specialist Dedicated Micros - part of AD Group - showed off it's seamless hybrid and IP video capability at ISC West 2011 in Las Vegas. It also unveiled new IP video products, which expand the game changing Closed IPTV, deterministic, safe and secure IP video series. The DV-IP HD is the first in a series of Dedicated Micros products offering High Definition recording and playback. The DV-IP HD is a full desktop High Definition CCTV system in a box, with all the benefits of a NetVu Connected Server and is the ideal companion product to the CamVu2000, or other High Definition or Megapixel Cameras, allowing multiple megapixel video streams to be viewed and recorded simultaneously in high definition. Using embedded control technology and an attached keyboard or mouse, the DV-IP HD is able to offer local control of the system and viewing of the images (both live and playback) through the attached monitor via an HDMI connector, allowing the user to view and control high definition images locally without having to transfer data across the company network.
