Dahua introduces smart thermal network camera series

Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China, introduces the smart thermal camera series to provide superior image quality and advanced features for perimeter security, electrical industry security and manufacturer security applications. The camera series is designed to find heat sources, and is able to offer highly detailed images and an extensive feature set. Dahua’s new smart thermal network camera family includes the thermal hybrid PTZ camera, hybrid speed dome camera, thermal bullet camera and thermal dome camera, all equipped with a variety of smart functions. The smart thermal cameras adopted top-notch sensor is capable of detecting tiny differences in temperature. This camera series can achieve higher detection accuracy and is able to function in complete darkness and adverse weather conditions. Furthermore, the cameras combine intelligence, efficiency and high performance through such features as smart detection, smart analysing, smart perception, smart tracking and smart control. The smart thermal network cameras can precisely determine object temperature and temperature distribution, even on small and fast moving objects. These cameras are excellent for detecting water leaks behind walls, a person hidden in the bushes at night, or identifying passengers with a fever passing through a checkpoint. Dahua’s thermal hybrid network PTZ camera is a professional combination of a visual camera with integrated max 40x optical zoom lens and a thermal camera, perfectly synchronised in pan and tilt movements. The network camera can capture full scale images without the need to step back or frame the shot. The thermal camera is useful for night-vision missions or precise thermographic surveys. The special lens focuses the infrared light emitted by all of the objects in view. It can deliver several independent H.264 streams for different quality needs and bandwidth constraints simultaneously. Dahua also provides software and accessories, including smart PSS, NVR and DMSS that can work together to meet the individual requirements of the transportation industry, energy industry, border and coastal surveillance etc., and other special applications. Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW81230E-ZE: extra business analysis value

System Overview Ultra series adopts high performance DSP and Sony advanced image sensor technology, which can provide excellent image effects for users. With Dahua advanced software algorithm, the series is able to support people counting and heat map which brings extra business analysis value for customers. In addition, IP67, IK10 and heater compliance ensure the series can be applied in a harsher environment. Functions ePoE technologyThe ePoE technology of Dahua, designed internally, adopts advanced 2D-PAM3 coding modulation from physical layer, and realises full duplex transmission over 800 metres at the speed of 10Mbps, or 300 metres at the speed of 100Mbps via Cat 5 or coaxial cable media. It supports PoE and PoC power supply technology which has greatly simplified construction and wiring. Dahua ePoE technology offers a new way to accomplish long distance transmission between IP cameras and network switches. It allows more flexible surveillance system design, improves reliability and saves construction and wiring cost. 4K technology4K resolution is a revolutionary breakthrough in image processing technology. 4K delivers four times the resolution of standard HDTV 1080p cameras and offers superior picture quality and image details. 4K resolution improves the clarity of a magnified scene to view or record crisp forensic video from large areas. E-PTZ functionE-PTZ (electronic-PTZ (Pan-Tilt Zoom)) is a virtual technology. E-PTZ function can be utilised on the local area. Mostly it appears in megapixel or other cameras. Business intelligent analysis (People counting, Heatmap)This Dahua camera also supports more advanced intelligent features such as people counting and heat map, besides basic IVS functions. These two functions can be applied to business intelligence and bring extra values to customers. It is available to acquire daily, weekly, monthly and yearly people flow via people counting and output data report. Heat map can be based on a moving object in time of space movement for analysis, find the most active area and output the report, which is to provide valuable data support for commercial applications. Smart Codec (H.265+ & H.264+)Smart Codec is the optimised implementation of standard video compression (H.265 & H.264) that uses a scene-adaptive encodingstrategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure and intelligent noise reduction to deliver high-quality video without straining the network. Smart Codec technology reduces bitrate and storage requirements by up to 70% when compared to the standard video compression. Environmental & protectionWith a temperature range of -40 °C to +60 °C (-40 °F to +140 °F), the camera is designed for extreme temperature environments. Supporting ±25% input voltage tolerance, this camera suits even the most unstable conditions for outdoor applications. Its 6KV lightning rating provides effective protection for both the camera and its structure against lightning. Subjected and certified to rigorous dust and immersion tests (IP67) and impact tests (IK10), The camera complies with an IK10 impact rating making it capable of withstanding the equivalent of 5 kg (11.02 lbs) of force dropped from a height of 40 cm (15.75 in.)
