Ramesh Songukrishnasamy

Ramesh Songukrishnasamy is director and treasurer of the FiRa Consortium, and senior vice president and chief technology officer of HID Global. He is a senior management professional with more than 23 years of progressive experience in aligning technology and engineering vision with business strategy. Songukrishnasamy joined HID Global in April 2018. Prior to HID, he was vice president and chief technology officer at Honeywell. Songukrishnasamy also has served in technology positions at Cypress Envirosystems and Indian Telephone Industries. He holds a Master of Technology degree in control guidance and instrumentation systems from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.
