Denis Hébert
President, FeenicsDenis Hébert is currently President and equity partner of Feenics Inc, an Access Control as a Service (ACaaS) cloud provider, moving physical access solutions from traditional onpremise and proprietary command-and-control, to a true cloud-based AWS environment using open hardware. This recurring (opex vs capex), service-based approach provides improved security, resiliency and availability, while reducing total cost of ownership for end-users. Mr. Hébert is presently serving as Chairman of the Board at Security Industry Association, after having served on the board since 2009. In addition, Mr. Hébert is also a Board Member of Nightingale Security, a Robot as a Service (RaaS) autonomous drone security provider, supplementing the guard services industry with improved response capabilities for expansive properties. Prior to that, Mr. Hébert served as President and CEO of HID Global Corporation (2002-2015), where he provided strategic guidance and leadership, while growing the business tenfold through a mix of strong organic development and acquisitions. As part of his divisional responsibility at HID Global, he was concurrently Executive Vice President of ASSA ABLOY (2007-2015), where he contributed to corporate and strategic planning for the overall group. In addition, his previous experience includes 17 years at Honeywell International (1986-2002), having served in various leadership roles in Canada, France and the U.S.
