Axis Communications has strengthened its network video camera portfolio with the introduction of ‘Active Tampering Alarm'. Active Tampering Alarm is an intelligent video feature built into network cameras that enables security staff to detect disrupted camera operation, by automatically alerting the operator when a camera is re-directed, obscured or manipulated.
Benefits at a glance:
- Ability to alert camera operators whenever a device is re-positioned to a new area, is adjusted out of focus or when a lens becomes obscured
- Immediate notification when a camera's normal operation is disturbed
- Ideal for schools, prisons, public transport and harsh environments where vandalism, weather, vibrations, or dirt can disturb the camera's performance
Active Tampering Alarm is available now in the following Axis network cameras: AXIS 209FD-R, AXIS 221, AXIS 223M and AXIS 225FD.
