Webgate Inc has launched the DS412 eDVR digital recording solution to support analog video, IP video, audio, and text data simultaneously.  Key characteristics include:

Clear Image, Small File Size - proprietary wavelet algorithm processes video into crisp, clear, and court-admissible pictures that are up to 500% smaller than comparable JPEG images.

Easy Set-up - as easy as setting up a VCR, starts to record as soon as power is supplied and CCTV cameras are connected. 

Easy Expansion - equipped with (3) IEEE 1394 ports (Fire-Wire),  recording capacity expandable to 4TB.   For backup purposes, HDD is Windows (FAT32) compatible, with images viewed on a PC.

Recording IP Cameras - expandable up to 16 channels without changing hardware.  By combining WebEye (Network Camera) series, 12 additional IP camera channels can be connected remotely over the Internet.   Live and recorded images can be displayed on a CCTV monitor as well as a PC monitor.

Pentaplex Performance - supporting recording, playback, back-up, network recording, and network playback simultaneously.
