Vigitron is introducing MaxiiWire: A new line of IP Extenders over Coax and Cat 5 cables.

These innovative products can extend the range of IP cameras up to 600 metres on coax or cat5 cables. They are ideal for replacing old analogue CCTV system with advanced digital CCTV systems. They are also a great solution to overcome the 100m-distance limitation of any Ethernet device. The MaxiiWire models are compact, affordable and true plug and play with no adjustment. Each unit is capable of both transmitting and receiving Ethernet signals. Diagnostic LEDs provide helpful information on the status of operation.

They provide full 100 BASE-T speed at maximum rated distance of 600m. Longer distances can be reached at 10BASE-T speed. They also can provide built-in POE option to eliminate need for local power supplies. The MaxiiWire will be on live demo at ASIS show in Irvine California this September.
