The 5311 reader interface makes it possible to integrate Cotag reading heads into non-Cotag access control systems. Popular data interfaces ensure easy integration with most host systems. The 5311 is easy to install and configure and provides reverse polarity protection via a self-resetting fuse. The operating parameters, interface requirements, distributor code and secondary code can all be easily configured using configuration tags supplied by the distributor. LEDs & horn may be driven internally or externally.This product is delivered without any configuration. The onboard interface library supports popular Clock&Data and Wiegand interfaces. The interface is set using a configuration card. The distributor code/secondary code is set by presenting a Cotag card containing the valid distributor code/secondary code.
