Panasonic provides advanced 24-hour outdoor surveillance technology

Featuring Panasonic's pioneering Super Dynamic III technology, the WV-CW960 integrates weatherproof housing, a 360-degree high-speed pan and tilt base and a 30x optical zoom lens, to bring surveillance footage to life. With high-performance features including pixel-based 160x dynamic range, the WV-CW960 achieves unprecedented image quality. Furthermore, featuring functions such as auto image stabiliser, scene change detection and auto tracking, the intelligence of the camera ensures outstanding reliability for outdoor surveillance applications. Super Dynamic III technology provides the WV-CW960 with enhanced image processing, delivering natural colour in its full range. Also, with the addition of the new digital colour circuitry in the DSP, colour is processed in fine detail, enabling accurate reproduction of pale or dimly lit colours. There are 540 TV lines of horizontal resolution in colour and 570 TV lines in B/W. Rain resistant, the WV-CW960 can be installed outside under eaves, external walls and rooftops, and in other outdoor locations. A built-in sun shield is also featured to ensure it can cope equally well in sunny conditions, permitting camera locations which are in direct sunlight. Also equipped for temperature changes, the housing's built-in fan and heater allow an operating temperature range of -40c to +50c. Alongside the host of reliable, practical features, the WV-CW960 also guarantees continuous 24-hour surveillance. When darkness falls, the camera automatically switches to B/W mode for greater sensitivity. In daylight, it automatically switches to colour mode.

Panasonic introduces the WV-SP509 full HD network camera

The WV-SP509 IP static camera provides high quality images and a wealth of features. Using a newly developed MOS sensor, the SP509 provides high quality full HD images across multiple H.264 and JPEG streams. Using MEGA Super Dynamic technology to deliver 128x dynamic range, the day/night image quality of the SP509 is ideal in all conditions. Packed with features, the SP509 is the most intelligent camera to date. Face detection allows the camera to adjust product focus to capture a person in shot and also use the XML data to trigger an alarm upon detection if using a compatible recorder. Auto back focus (ABF) allows easy installation, reducing installation time and ensuring perfect image. VIQS (variable image quality on specified area) is the latest innovation to the Smart HD range, allowing the camera to have higher resolution only on specified areas of the image, meaning lower bandwidth. The WV-SP509 provides all the latest Smart HD innovations, ensuring is fit for all in and outdoor needs*. Also, ONVIF compliant this camera is a must for a wide range of applications. Panasonic’s new true day/night surveillance camera: the WV-CP290 provides superb image quality for a versatile environment
Panasonic’s new true day/night surveillance camera: the WV-CP290 provides superb image quality for a versatile environment

Introducing the new WV-CP290 Day/Night surveillance camera by Panasonic System Networks Europe. Panasonic has incorporated ABS (Adaptive Black Stretch) technology which enhances visibility of dark areas without degrading image quality in bright areas, allowing a wider range of visibility for different environments. To utilise the Adaptive Black Stretch technology fully the WV-CP290 applies newly-developed DSP (Digital Signal Processor) technology. The DSP automatically detects the dark areas inside an image, applying the most suitable correction curve based on brightness data of areas surrounding the dark area. This image processing algorithm transforms shadows and dark areas into natural crisp images produced in real-time. These changes take place without degrading the original image quality in the bright areas. The 1/3 inch CCD pick-up element with 752 (H) x 582 (V) pixels offers excellent quality paired with high resolution of 540 TV lines. The camera supports an impressive 0.8 lux in colour and 0.05 lux for B/W, resulting in a high sensitivity with the Day/Night function. Switchable infra-red night mode filters enhance the detail in night mode and a more usable and vivid picture in day mode. In addition to this, to enhance the image quality, the following adjustment features are included; BLC (Back Light Compensation), ATW (Auto Tracing White Balance and ALC (Automatic Light Control). With 2 white balance modes which are selectable with a dip switch, options of ATW (Auto Tracking White Balance) and AWC (Auto White Balance Control) automatically adjust the neutral white colour in a differing light environment. The WV-CP290 also comes with Internal/Line-lock /Multiplexed Vertical Drive (VD2 synchronisation). Supports CS-mount lenses and DC-servo ALC lenses with 1/3 inch 2x Varifocal Lens and a 1/3 inch 8x Varifocal Lens available as optional extras.
