The sensor is easy to install by simply clicking the master and slave modules into the profile, the master and slave modules are connected by a communication cable with connector The wide detection area of each module secures a high level of safety around the door and will prevent the door leaf from hitting an object or person near the door Adjustments to the sensor are done by the use of dipswitches and a levelling screw

The sensor can serve as an extra safety sensor to protect the threshold against early closing of the door Besides, there is also the possibility to position the sensor to create extra safety against pinch off near the door leaf during the opening movement The sensor detects persons or objects as long as they are in the threshold area, even if they stop or pause As threshold safety, the sensor will order the door to open until the person or object has left the area In case of safety behind the door leaf, the sensor will send a contact to the device, where after the automatic door can be sent, for instance, into a slow mode function Snow mode and variable sensitivity adjustments make this sensor suitable for every application and even extreme weather conditions

A passive infrared door sensor for every type of automatic door application The compact housing makes it also suitable for recessed mounting The detection pattern consists of 10 individual zones, providing high sensitivity even in large areas Rotating the spherical lens easily changes the detection area from standard to large size By using area masking seals, the detection pattern’s size and shape can be further customised to best fit the application Advanced circuitry minimises false activations, making it ideal for environments with sunlight, wind, rain, snow or radio frequency noise

Combines activation and safety functions into one sensor based on the Optex full active infrared technology Provides maximum safety around the threshold and at the same time a large motion detection area for door activation The sensor has also a unique “bluezone” lookback function that offers additional safety in the threshold The presence detection area consists of three rows, two rows in front of the door and one additional bluezone row looks into the threshold As soon as the doors start to open the bluezone becomes active and add an additional row of active infrared All three rows will be active when someone or something is within the threshold area as long as the presence timer is set When the area is safe the doors will start to close again The bluezone recognises the door movement and will automatically shut off Equipped with a "spot" activation area making the sensor applicable as a virtual push button
