The NCR516 is an industry-leading traffic network camera which utilizes the proprietary CatchAll™ LPR/ANPR Enhancing Technology to capture critical traffic information in detail up to Full D1 resolution at 30 fps, regardless of the environment or lighting conditions. With the network/IP capabilities supporting H.264, the NCR516 can be accessed at any time from any network devices to achieve efficient remote and centralized monitoring.
Wide range of applications with Intelligent Traffic Mode
The Intelligent Traffic Mode, driven by CatchAll™ Technology, enables the camera to capture license plate information under various traffic speed/installation settings up to 110km/h (68mph), suitable for all environments ranging from highways, urban traffic, to entrance gates and parking lots. Operators can choose from 4 preset modes that best adapt to the environment, allowing full customization to optimize the identification results.
Enhanced for low light surveillance
Imaging performance of the NCR516 is backed by Lumii™ Technology, the proprietary low light technology that increases the camera sensitivity and reduces noise in weather and low light conditions to deliver sharper images at night. Equipped with 3D digital noise reduction, the NCR516 can further minimizes spatial noises to deliver cleaner signals for more efficient use of storage capacity. More importantly, the camera is able to deliver sharper, more accurate images, making it easier to identify license plates.
Eliminating extraneous information on the road
Driven by the CatchAll™ Technology, the NCR516 features Headlight Suppression designed to minimize the interfering factor of approaching high-beam headlights, resulting in clear traffic information capture for positive identification. The Fog Penetration enables the camera to peer through fog or smoke to recover real color images in such environment. It greatly improves the LPR accuracy by delivering sharper, more information-rich images.
Flexible IR Illumination with extendible Night Vision
Featuring the advanced IR adjustment, the camera offers the flexibility to free images from IR overexposure and hot spots and thus to ensure even illumination across the entire field of view in accordance with the requirements at the installation site.
In addition to the built-in IR LEDs, the camera can be fully integrated with MESSOA SLI080 Series IR Illuminators to reach an extended coverage beyond 70 meters (230ft) for higher quality license plate images at night. The pulsed IR is able to synchronize with the camera’s shutter to provide higher power, on-target outputs, while saving energy consumption to maximum 80%.
Outdoor-ready design
The vandal-resistant, die-cast aluminum alloy housing protects the camera from heavy rain and dust. The powder coating surface finishing provides strong resistance to salt damages at installation sites in proximity to the sea shores or harbors.
