What is Cyber security?
Cyber security is the practice of protecting computer systems, networks and programmes from damage, unauthorised access or potentially being made inaccessible.
We now live in a connected world, with technology at our fingertips. Cyber-attacks are not only a threat on an individual level, with issues such as identity theft but is also a threat to businesses and governments. All devices have vulnerabilities that when exploited, undermine the objectives of an organisation.
Cyber attacks continue to grow in sophistication, with an ever-expanding variety of tactics being implemented by attackers. This difficulty is magnified by the fact that there are more devices than people.
