The SMR8000U hardware RAID NVR is professionally designed for megapixel surveillance, accommodating up to eight hot-swappable disk drives with hardware RAID and 5-time higher I/O performance than common PC solutions that can significantly reduce maintenance efforts and prevent video loss. The all-in-one form factor offers a highly integrated and proven solution for security integrators, minimizing the installation, compatibility and maintenance issues associated with traditional PC+software solutions and enabling them to easily upgrade to professional megapixel surveillance solutions. The rackmount SMR8000U systems are well-suited for mission-critical environments, such as retail outlets, restaurants, hotels, schools, banks and factories.
