Geutebruck’s TopLine network cameras now with AF

Geutebruck’s TopLine range of high resolution, high quality network cameras now includes two models with auto focus functionality for quicker, easier installation and commissioning.  The TopFD-2131 and the TopFD-2233 are both day/night, fixed dome IP cameras with 1/3" CMOS sensors, full HD plus resolution and AF vario focal lenses (2.8 mm to 10 mm). Both support dual streaming in H264CCTV, MJPEG and MPEG4. The first is for indoor use the second has a weather-proof, vandal resistant housing for outdoor applications. Thanks to the auto focus function there is no manual focusing involved in installing these cameras. You just mount the camera and adjust for the desired viewing angle, then click the so-called ‘one push focus’ button in the camera’s web browser to initiate auto focusing. This process uses the whole image as its reference and may take several seconds to complete. However, it is only required once. The automatic focus correction is independent of the lighting conditions, so in operation, the camera continues to deliver a sharp images even after day/night switching. Commenting on these new products, Frank Brandtner, Geutebruck’s product manager says: “Our TopLine cameras are all high specification models designed for top performance and seamless integration in our systems. They include the latest functionality and support the specialist security format H264CCTV which is designed to provide completely air-tight recording by playing back fluid motion forwards, backwards, even frame by frame, smoothly without jumps or gaps.” For more information visit www.geutebrueck.com

Geutebruck adds more megapixel and full HD+ cameras to its TopLine IP range

There are now four more high end models in Geutebruck’s TopLine range of progressive scan IP cameras.  Designed and made in Germany to ensure top quality and reliability, they all come with specific features to complement Geutebruck video security systems and boost overall system performance.  Besides the MJPEG and MPEG-4 compression formats, these dual-streaming cameras also support Geutebruck’s H264CCTV specialist security process, which unlike most H264 implementations, plays back fluid motion video, forwards and backwards, even frame by frame, without any gaps.  Two of the new models are fixed view, day/night, dome cameras with 1/3” CMOS sensors and integral 2.8 mm to 10 mm zoom lenses which offer full HD+ resolution (2.7MP / 1920 x 1440 pixels).  These also deliver video in full HD resolution at up to 30 fps.  The TopFD-2125 model comes in a standard housing, and the TopFD-2228 has an IP 66 vandal-resistant housing.   The other pair are 5-megapixel box cameras with 1/2.5” CMOS sensors - the TopBC-1123 being a colour camera and the TopBC-2123 a day/night camera.  These both provide full resolution (5MP / 2560 x 1920 pixels) video at up to 9 fps. Standard automatic camera features shared by all four newcomers include: white balance, exposure, electronic shutter, back light compensation, flicker reduction (flickerless) and AGC.  As well as electronic PTZ functions, they all support text insertion, motion detection, privacy masking and mirror functions.  Designed for seamless, licence-free integration into Geutebruck video surveillance systems, all TopLine cameras can be powered either from a local low voltage supply or centrally by PoE. Geutebruck showcases TopLine range including new 2 megapixel day/night network camera

Geutebruck's new TopBC-2188 network camera is a high resolution 2 megapixel day/night camera with a 1/1.8"-CCD sensor and removable IR cut filter for brilliant picture quality round the clock.  Like the others in the TopLine range, this camera supports complex operations with multi-streaming in H264CCTV, MJPEG and MPEG4 video compression formats.  For the discerning security user the H264CCTV format delivers video played back with fluid motion forwards or backwards, even frame by frame, without the usual gaps or jumps produced by other H.264 implementations and through which critical details may be lost.   Designed for license-free use with Geutebruck video security systems, the TopBC-2188's functions include white balance, exposure, electronic shutter (AES), back light compensation, flickerless and automatic gain control (AGC).  It supports text overlay, motion detection, privacy masking, mirror function and an electronic PTZ function.  For easy installation, TopLine cameras can be powered either from a local supply or centrally by PoE. The ‘TopLine' range includes eight box cameras and a fixed dome camera with various megapixel resolutions, sensor types, standard colour and true day/night options.  "Our new TopLine range are all high specification cameras designed for top performance and seamless integration into our systems," comments Frank Brandtner, Geutebruck's product marketing manager.  "There are types and resolutions for all kinds of application and they all provide brilliant crystal-clear pictures. In addition, our advanced compression format H264CCTV, which is specially optimised for security users, guarantees professional video surveillance with completely air-tight event recording."

Topping the bill at the Geutebruck Security booth was the TopLine range of high spec network cameras. Eight box cameras and a fixed dome camera offer various Megapixel resolutions, sensor types, standard colour and true day/night options. Designed for licence-free integration with its video security systems, these multi-standard cameras include support for the specialist security format H264CCTV which, unlike most H264 implementations, plays back fluid motion video, forwards and backwards, even frame by frame without any gaps. For easy installation, TopLine cameras can be powered either from a local supply or centrally by PoE. Sharing the limelight this year is Argus, a high speed, high precision, pan and tilt head which sports a thermal imaging camera.  With IP66/V4A weather and corrosion-proof housings, a dirt and water repellent window, a completely maintenance-free drive system as well as an optional air blast cleaner system, Argus ensures reliable, cost-effective operation even in inhospitable and inaccessible locations such as tunnels or marine and industrial environments. Other key roles at this year’s display were taken by the high end GeViScope+ video platform whose transcoding function enables dual channel streaming and dynamic live streaming for storage and network savings, and which supports all current compression standards – H.264, H264CCTV, MPEG4CCTV, M-JPEG and ONVIF compliance – as well as audio recording, for analog and IP cameras. Operated via Pilot, the flexible three-part management console with the latest computer technology and a whole new level of individual operator comfort, convenience and performance, the GeViScope+ is demonstrating Geutebruck’s highly reliable video analytics.
