Hikvision installation guide - IR dome camera

The Hikvision IR Dome Installation Process offers in-depth, step-by-step instructions on how to go about unpackaging and assembling all the parts of the IR Dome Camera together. The camera parts include camera lens/head, bracket, mounting base, pendant adapter, screw pack and allen wrench. The tools required for the task include the quick start guide and electric screw gun.

Steps for installation of the Hikvision IR Dome Camera are –

• Disassemble the dome cove
• Open the memory card cover and insert the memory card, (Optional Step)
• Install the waterproof cap for the network cable,
• Fix the bracket into the wall,
• Fix the mounting base on the cap,
• Fix the mounting base on the bracket adapter cap,
• Secure the cap on the bracket body,
• Tighten the lock screw,
• Hook the camera to the mountain base,
• Connect the network cable,
• Secure the waterproof cap with the network connector,
• Connect the power supply,
• Tidy the cables and wrap them in the junction box,
• Install the camera on the bracket,
• Rotate and tighten,
• Log in the device and adjust the direction of the lens,
• Replace the dome cover after the installation,
• Installation completed
