Aimetis Symphony secures China Art Museum

Aimetis Symphony has been deployed as the video management software platform at China Art Museum in Shanghai. Aimetis Symphony provided the museum with a single platform for upgrading their existing CCTV system to an IP network-based solution that includes a scalable system to easily add new network cameras as needed. The system is also one of the largest installations in the region using the latest technology available in network cameras from Axis Communications. Aimetis partnered with systems integrator Shangan who provided the system installation and project management to deliver a turn-key solution. China Art Museum has installed Aimetis Symphony to work with 1,200 new and existing analog and IP cameras, with approximately 5% of cameras running Aimetis video analytics. The number of cameras is estimated to increase to 1,500 as the museum grows and expands.
