Malcolm Smith, CPP
Malcolm is currently the Head of Group Security for Sasol where he has global security responsibility for developing and implementing functional strategy, formulate group security policy and oversee security risk governance. He has held various senior management positions in leading multinationals such as Shell, Diageo plc, Old Mutual and Nedbank Ltd. Malcolm serves in various volunteer leadership roles, such as ASIS International Strategic Planning Committee; Chief Security Officers Roundtable Leadership Development Council; Senior Regional Vice President for ASIS International and Co-Founding Director of ASMA. Malcolm holds an Executive MBA from Henley Business School, UK; a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, University of South Africa; 3-Year Diploma in Security Risk Management, University of Pretoria; and Masters Degree in Security Risk Management current. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Malcolm is a public speaker and has delivered topics on business management and corporate security globally.
