Jakob Schmidt

Jakob Schmidt joined Exruptive in 2014, first as a board member and later as the CEO. He joined from a position as Senior Vice President and member of the Group Management board in Falck, a global service company with activities in 45 countries on six continents. Prior to this, he was CEO in an international publicly listed biotech company and held a variety of board positions and chairmanships in listed and unlisted companies. He brings to Exruptive a wealth of experience with high technology content management and entrepreneurship, both from Denmark and abroad. Among other things, Jakob represents Exruptive in the board of directors of LINX (Linking Industry to Neurons and X-rays) an Innovation Fund Denmark supported Industry Portal with participation from leading Danish research institutions and companies aimed at commercialising next generation X-ray technologies.
