Ian Johannessen
Managing Director, PeoplesafeIan founded Rocksure Systems in 2004. Being familiar with both the telecoms and security market the Peoplesafe service was conceived after being involved in the development of the Identicom device. Ian has through his experience built up an expertise in dealing with the needs and risks associated with lone workers, and has worked with and advised some of the UK’s biggest organisations on the implementation of systems which have an enduring and effective impact on the culture of safety. In 2003 Ian also founded TriEx Security, a business that continues to flourish in the competitive electronic security industry. Ian speaks regularly to Safety Groups and at conferences on the practical challenges faced when organisations seek to establish good practice in lone working. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Lone Worker Section of the BSIA.
