ISONAS provides Pure IP access control solutions to help improve safety in cities worldwide ISONAS Inc., a leading Pure IP access control system manufacturer, recently announced that the company will be exhibiting at the Secured Cities Conference in Houston, TX. This is the 7th Annual Secured Cities event and this year it will take place on November 10th -12th 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Reliant Park in Houston, TX. During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with today’s top security solution manufacturers. ISONAS will be showcasing its PowerNet™ IP Bridge hardware at booth #407. The PowerNet™ IP Bridge, like the encoder, offers customers using a Wiegand panel system a simple transition path to a Pure IP Access Control solution without a rip and replace. This gives end users the opportunity to convert panel-based access control to a Pure IP solution. Customers can now seamlessly and cost-effectively expand legacy systems to operate within an ISONAS Pure IP environment. ISONAS will also be displaying their latest software addition, EasyWeb 2015. This browser-based software allows users to manage their credentials and monitor access points in real-time across the globe. Real-world solutions for public safety The Secured Cities Conference will focus on issues that affect public safety and will bring together law enforcement professionals, emergency management, security and government officials to collaborate and discuss real-world solutions. ISONAS has been instrumental in providing Pure IP Access Control Solutions to cities across the globe. This is evident by receiving the prestigious 2014 Security Innovation Award – Municipal Sector, for its work with the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut at the 2014 Secured Cities conference. The City of Bridgeport installation involved integrated security solutions to protect properties throughout the city, including historic Pleasure Beach, a recently re-opened public park with close proximity to many high-target security risks, as well as the city’s 40 public schools. “As one of last year’s award winners, we are very excited to be exhibiting at the Secured Cities Conference this year and have the opportunity to showcase our PowerNet™ IP Bridge hardware along with our other Pure IP-based solutions that can help cities across the globe improve safety,” states Rob Mossman, CEO of ISONAS. The event delivers well-researched, relevant and unique forum to discuss the various facets of Secure Cities Security Watch India (SWI) organised the seventh edition of its critically acclaimed security event, ‘Secure Cities’ in New Delhi on 09th September, 2015. This is the only event to deliver a well-researched, extremely relevant and unique high level forum to discuss the various facets of Secure Cities. The event was supported by a unique showcase exhibition exposing the latest technology and technique available to professionals in this vitally important arena. The event was inaugurated by Gen JJ Singh (Retd), Former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh and Former Chief of Army Staff. Giving his inaugural address he stated that, “The task of protecting people and assets is multifaceted and this conference presents a vast canvas to address some of the concerns. It also confers recognition to various organisations for their excellence, innovative thinking and law enforcement”. Government and official representatives This event saw the participation of government and official representatives wherein Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, spokesperson, BJP gave the keynote address. She spoke about the importance of this initiative and said, “The private sector is a national asset, which needs to be protected in addition to public facilities.” She further added that, “the public at large is also responsible for supporting the security personnel engaged in this task. Proper and certified skill training is imperative and there is a need to change the definition of security personnel from unskilled labour.” Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Harry Dhaul, Director General, SWI wherein he mentioned that “one of the biggest threats to security is the disparity between the various sections of society”. In his remarks at the conference, Mr. Maroof Raza, Mentor, SWI, highlighted the relevance of smart and safe cities and stated, “While there is a lot of talk about Smart cities, we are looking for Smart cities that are safe, for this it is imperative to build the security component into Smart Cities” During the conference discussions were held on several topics of interest and relevance with eminent panelists. The speakers and panel lists were representatives from the Government, Security forces, Police and Disaster Management sector and industry. Topics of discussion at the sessions were: Intelligent security and resilience in urban ecosystems Security risk management and critical infrastructure protection Disaster management and emergency response Securing cities from global threats As part of the event, SWI announced the winners of “Innovation and Excellence Awards for Security and Policing2015”, to recognise and salute the excellence, competence and contribution of security personnel towards making India’s cities safer. The Awards honoured law enforcement organisations and projects/initiatives, which were exemplary and innovative in enhancing the level of internal security of India .The winners of the awards were felicitated by Shri KPS Gill, Former DGP Punjab and Mr. PC Sharma, Former Member NHRC and Former Director CBI.
The 4th annual international conference and exhibition will be held on 13th to 14th July 2015 at The Harte & Garter, UK The Indian Urban Sector is on the threshold of transformational change with the Government of India’s commitment to improve the quality of urban life and provide clean and sustainable environment by efficiently utilising available assets, resources and infrastructure.
