This collaboration can help customers detect threats and respond to attacks faster, improve remediation, and advance cyber resilience-all while utilising their existing security and data management investments. Global research study This type of alliance is in high demand by enterprises globally. In a soon-to-be-released global research study commissioned by Cohesity, with partners BigID and Tenable, 87% of the more than 3,000 IT and security respondents polled believe that in order to help win the war against ransomware, it is important that data security and management and cyber security companies team to provide complete and integrated anti-ransomware solutions. The following are new Data Security Alliance partners: Netskope: Cohesity and Netskope will provide enhanced data protection to tackle the challenges of double-extortion ransomware attacks. Cohesity’s zero-trust protection of immutable backup data helps ensure data is available for recovery if production data is encrypted. When coupled with instant mass restore, organisations will be able to recover from ransomware attacks in hours versus days. Zero-trust principles Enterprises can reduce the attack surface by applying zero-trust principles to unmanaged networks Netskope's Intelligent Security Service Edge (SSE) platform, with its Zero Trust Engine, provides AI-powered visibility and control of sensitive data across web, SaaS, and private apps. Enterprises can reduce the attack surface by applying zero-trust principles to unmanaged networks and protect all traffic through real-time data and threat protection. Through this integration, enterprises can thwart data exfiltration by ransomware attacks that can expose customer, employee, and partner data, as well as intellectual property, for extortion purposes. ServiceNow: ServiceNow® Security Operations (SecOps) brings incident data from the Cohesity Data Cloud into a structured response engine that uses intelligent workflows, automation, and a deep connection with IT to prioritise and resolve threats based on the impact they pose to organisations. Zscaler: Data protection is top of mind for customers to protect. Cohesity integration with Zscaler provides customers with industry-pioneering Zero Trust security in the world's most deployed cloud data protection solution. Cohesity will classify backup data and share information about sensitive files with Zscaler. Zscaler's data protection platform not only fortifies cloud-based communication channels but also incorporates functionalities such as automated data discovery powered by AI and machine learning (ML), as well as seamless deployment requiring no manual configuration. These capabilities enable precise enforcement of outbound traffic policies, aligning them effectively with customer data protection guidelines. Furthermore, the integrated workflow optimises the allocation of security team resources while actively shaping user behaviour pertaining to the handling of sensitive data. ADR Security, a New York City-based Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed electronic systems installation and fire alarm service company with more than 90 years of industry experience has created a unique business serving high-end, high-risk customers called ADR Security Monitoring (ADRSM). Leveraging the professional, fully redundant central stations of Security Partners, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the new organisation is based on a strategic alliance designed to meet the complex insurance underwriter requirements of high-risk clients, particularly jewellers in the Diamond District of New York City. Burglar alarm certificate services According to Patrick Egan, Owner of Select Security and Founder of the Security Partners Dealer Network third-party central station, the partnership with ADR Security will provide the highest levels of professional monitoring, redundancy and disaster recovery to highly protected risk properties requiring UL central station burglar alarm certificate services, with fully supervised monitoring and alarm runner response. Security Partners is UL-Listed, Factory Mutual Approved and holds the prestigious Five-Diamond Certification from The Monitoring Association, Vienna, Va. “We believe there is a huge, underserved market for certificate service – bigger than ever before – and this is a great opportunity for us to partner with a strong, independent and financially solid company like ADR Security,” said Egan. "This alliance is a fantastic opportunity for Security Partners to display our level of service and commitmentto customers like ADRSM" Egan said ADR has distinguished longevity in the marketplace and a top-notch management team that understands the higher liability and higher risk in certificate service for this specialised niche market. “It’s not just monitoring, redundancy and supervision but response time, detailed recordkeeping and meeting stringent installation standards. There are only a handful of companies providing this type of service and many traditional providers have moved from high-risk services into residential or disappeared because of industry consolidation. We’ve already fielded inquiries from insurance underwriters interested in ADRSM capabilities. We are excited that this local, highly technical and experienced company has selected Security Partners to be their monitoring partner of choice,” he said. Professional security services for high-end market Randy Hall, President of Security Partners, reiterated that the new service is uniquely positioned to bring top-quality, professional services to the high-end market and its end-user customers: “This alliance is a fantastic opportunity for Security Partners to display our level of service and commitment to customers like ADRSM. Security Partners has the skill sets and technology in place to perform at the highest levels required and showcase excellence in monitoring to the consumer. We are excited to be able to offer our competencies.” Peter Goldring, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ADR Security said the company’s focus will be on delivering the highest security and monitoring for businesses in the jewellery industry, providing solutions that “keep the jeweller safe – at home, at work and in transit.” “We are one of less than a handful of companies providing this unique service and there are some 3,000 to 4,000 individual sites in a two-block radius of the Diamond District, located on West 47th Street between Fifth and the Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue) in midtown Manhattan. Our approach is different – it’s the holistic design, installation, service, monitoring and response of fully-supervised certificate solutions.” Goldring added. Strong and immediate security presence Initially ADRSM’s service area will be primarily metropolitan New York City but the plan is to expand the concept nationwide through a network of authorised dealers. "This is not a typical third-party central station relationship. It’s a well-thought out, purposefully planned and highly specialised operation" “This is a unique segment of business and there’s nothing else like the area of 47th Street; with such a high density of jewellery businesses and thousands of the most secure systems in the world. The barrier to entry is fierce for security providers but our longevity in the market, expertise and network of redundant professional monitoring stations through the partnership with Security Partners will yield success. This is not a typical third-party central station relationship. It’s a well-thought out, purposefully planned and highly specialised operation. This strategic partnership gives us a strong and immediate presence in the Diamond District.” Alan Rudnick, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ADR Security, said ADRSM leverages Patrick Egan’s iconic industry experience, Security Partners’ fully redundant central monitoring stations and the Goldring family’s 95-year heritage in the high-security vertical market. “We will raise the bar in best practices, response time and rock-solid, fully redundant central station monitoring,” said Rudnick. “It’s about the right technology and working with the right people to come up with something special. We’re looking forward to where this takes us—it’s a great combination and the perfect recipe for success.”
The new dealer funding programme secures new business and growth for dealers Security Partners has announced their new dealer funding programme. The wholesale central station, with four national Secure Operation Centres, teamed up with Financial Security, a division of Belmont Finance, LLC, to create a programme designed to grow dealers RMR, build their business, and maintain ownership of their accounts for the long term. Growing relationship with dealers Mike Bodnar, President of Security Partners, says, “We are funding 36-month and 60-month agreements. There is an ability for continued funding on the account with a line of credit that we’ll establish for the dealer. All throughout, the dealer will be servicing their customer for the short term and the long term, because it will remain their customer at the end of their term.” Jacob Trone, Marketing Director of Financial Security, will be working closely to grow dealer relationships and ensure a smooth transition for the dealers to the program. Jacob comments, “I know dealer success will come from this programme, because we kept the dealers as our main concern in every decision making process we encompassed.” One-stop electronic portal The new funding programme can be used in conjunction with the web portal that is accessible to all of Security Partners’ dealers. Bodnar describes the web portal as a “one-stop electronic portal” that creates an online business platform for their dealers to “check a consumer’s eligibility/gain credit approval for the sales, installation and future servicing of a security system; create an electronic agreement for that same approved sale that can be quickly completed and endorsed with an e-signature from the subscriber.” Aimed at small and mid-sized companies and dealers, the new program will provide funding to secure new business and growth. “Our programme is unique,” Bodnar said, “Security Partner’s vision is to support our dealers and facilitate their continued growth. Our new funding programme, where our dealers maintain ownership of their accounts, is yet another example of our commitment to our dealer’s success.” Save Save
