ASD aspirating smoke detectors Securiton’s SecuriSmoke ASD aspirating smoke detectors are often installed in critical infrastructures and hard-to-access locations. SecuriSmoke aspirating smoke detectors (ASDs), often sited in hard-to-access locations including airports, laboratories, data centres and similar facilities, is also where the FidesNet networking solution comes into its own. At the heart of the networking solution is the Remote Control Unit (RCU) with its seven-inch colour touch panel. Furthermore, a Network Communication Unit (NCU) is available for connecting FidesNet to higher-level systems, such as a data centre control system.
