By combining Magos radars with Netwatch's proactive video monitoring solution, security providers realise enhanced visibility and informed response. AI-filtered alerts supported by Netwatch’s highly trained operators result in reduced false alarms. Magos and Netwatch partnership “By combining Magos radars with the Netwatch proactive video monitoring service, customers gain greater situational awareness and the ability to detect and respond to perimeter breaches, whether it is an intruder entering a secure facility or simply a false alarm caused by an animal entering the field of view,” said Yaron Zussman, General Manager, Magos Americas. MIMO technology Using MIMO technology, its radars can transmit and receive more data at a higher rate of speed Netwatch North America is a pioneer in the delivery of proactive video monitoring, a purpose-built service developed to help stop crimes before they happen. Its personalised audio voice downs stop crime on 98% of occasions. Because of its proven effectiveness, it is widely used in various environments, including retail, cannabis, auto dealerships, wineries, and parking facilities. Magos Systems radars are ideal for substations, car lots, data centres, critical infrastructure and other sites needing perimeter protection that surveillance alone cannot handle. The company offers a cost-effective radar system at a variety of ranges. Using MIMO technology, its radars can transmit and receive more data at a higher rate of speed. Efficient and effective security "Through our partnership with Magos Systems, we are enhancing our customers' situational awareness and their ability to detect and respond to perimeter breaches," said Justin Wilmas, President, Netwatch North America. He adds, "Together we are reducing false positives and increasing the accuracy in detecting and classifying objects. This collaboration ensures that our customers receive only the most relevant and actionable information, enabling more efficient and effective security measures." Magos radars combine MASS and advanced AI algorithms Magos radars combine MASS and advanced AI algorithms, to provide video-based object classification, including people, vehicles, and boats. Known as MASS+AI, it can also filter out irrelevant alerts caused by wildlife and fauna without compromising threat detection.
Netwatch North America, the pioneer in proactive video monitoring solutions, has announced a premiere partnership with Eagle Eye Networks to integrate the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS (video management system) with Netwatch’s proactive video monitoring service. The technology collaboration combines cloud-based video and audio monitoring initiatives with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, such as AI-filtered alerts, that reduce false positive alarms and deliver the simplicity and performance modern organisations require. Market for proactive security solutions growing The market for proactive security solutions is increasing exponentially, as more organisations look to implement a proactive approach to risk management. According to Mordor Intelligence, the proactive security market is expected to reach US$ 45.67 million by 2026, primarily due to the growing number of businesses opting for proactive security solutions over reactive technologies. Netwatch PVM integration with Eagle Eye cloud VMS Netwatch Proactive Video Monitoring (PVM) is now fully integrated with Eagle Eye, a cyber-secure, cloud VMS Netwatch Proactive Video Monitoring (PVM) is now fully integrated with Eagle Eye, a cyber-secure, cloud VMS for many security and business use cases, including loss prevention, workplace safety, security, business optimisation, alarm management, and more. Netwatch PVM is a purpose-built platform designed to help stop crimes before they happen by using personalised audio voice downs that stop crime on 98 percent of occasions. Both Netwatch and Eagle Eye focus on serving businesses with common parameters, such as those operating in high-risk environments with a need to lower liability, ensure compliance and reduce operational inefficiencies. Integration to improve security for multi-site customers “The integration will improve security and efficiency for multi-site customers for whom false positive alarm reduction is critical to daily operations,” said Ken Francis, the President of Eagle Eye Networks. Ken Francis adds, “The Netwatch integration provides customers with expanded functionality, to include live-audio voice downs and artificial intelligence-filtered alerts. Intelligent alerts distinguish between actionable and non-actionable events.” Next generation of video surveillance solutions “The next generation of video surveillance solutions, such as video surveillance-as-a-service and PVM, play a crucial role in providing organisations with the ability to optimise security, reduce loss, and improve operational efficiencies at scale,” said Justin Wilmas, President, Netwatch North America. Justin Wilmas adds, “We are thrilled to join forces with Eagle Eye in our mission to provide superior video capture and analysis and support risk mitigation efforts for our growing customer base.” The integrated solution will be available for general release in early 2023.
Netwatch North America, the provider of proactive video monitoring solutions, promotes strategic technology integration with Hanwha Techwin America, a global supplier of video surveillance solutions. Netwatch Proactive Video Monitoring is now fully integrated with Hanwha's Wisenet WAVE VMS version 4.2. It is also compatible with Hanwha's Wisenet X and P series line of cameras, enabling customers to add proactive video monitoring to their suite of security solutions. Proactive security solutions The market for proactive security solutions is increasing as more organisations look to implement a proactive approach to risk management. According to Mordor Intelligence, the proactive security market is expected to reach $45.67 million by 2026, primarily due to the growing number of businesses opting for proactive security solutions over-reactive technologies. Additionally, joint customers can detect loitering and issue live-audio warnings to de-escalate incidents When combined, Hanwha's video surveillance solutions and Netwatch Proactive Video Monitoring allow end-users to identify intrusion incidents and provide live-audio intervention to prevent crime in real-time. Additionally, joint customers can detect loitering and issue live-audio warnings to de-escalate incidents before loss or damage can occur. "The integration between Netwatch and Hanwha Techwin empowers businesses to ignite a stronger incident and threat response and take faster, more efficient action," said Justin Wilmas, President, Netwatch North America. Vision software analytics "Netwatch proactive video monitoring is a major value-add to the market, and this recent integration with Hanwha is the latest example of our company's continuous pursuit of security-focused innovation for our customers." Traditional video monitoring services have long been the standard for after-hours security in most facilities and campuses. However, this service limits the ability to prevent crime. Proactive video monitoring empowers operators to act before an incident occurs. The Netwatch Platform connects to a business' video surveillance system and can detect unauthorised activity through computer vision software analytics. Once an alert is received, Netwatch's intervention specialists evaluate the situation over a live video feed, determining the threat level. The operator speaks directly to the intruder with a live audio warning advising they leave the premises immediately. In 98 percent of cases, the live warning stops the criminal from proceeding.

Audio might detect sounds like breaking glass or footsteps before a person even enters the field-of-view of a video camera. Audio also helps to provide context: Someone running in a video image might be suspicious, but the situation is different if they are yelling for help. Furthermore, audio enables operators to talk remotely to people on site, which can deter crime, de-escalate situations, or gather information. And yet, optimising audio is often an overlooked aspect of physical security system design. We asked this week's Expert Panel Roundtable: What is the expanding role of audio in today's physical security systems?
There is a bright outlook for trade shows in 2024. In particular, ISC West has recently become the must-see event in the security marketplace.
