One-stop AIoT edge solution The image inference process requires no PC, and the results can then be integrated via Python or C# SDKs, or sent through hardware by digital output, which performs a "one-stop" AIoT edge solution. AI image inference was difficult to implement in edge applications. It required a PC host to perform the computation, which increases the complexity of the wiring and architecture, and the AI models are usually limited or not compatible. Plus lots of cameras lack behaviours, so building an application was very difficult. Ship-tracking applicaton A typical case is the implementation of ship-tracking. With Intersec 2016 concluded a couple of months ago, Hsu reiterated the potential for growth within the region for the security industry and for the company.   “Since Europe’s economy is still sluggish, UAE will be a new and potential market,” he said. “We believe that quality and support are more important for homeland security for UAE even though (competitively priced) Chinese products are everywhere. This year, LILIN will devote much more to this market than before. We have attended Intersec this year, and we received lots of good responses.
