Hornetsecurity protects OneNote with new backup features

Global cybersecurity pioneer, Hornetsecurity, has unveiled an upgraded version of its 365 Total Backup solution, introducing self-service recovery for end users while also offering full backup and recovery support for Microsoft OneNote. This new functionality is also available with 365 Total Protection Plans 3 and 4. Enabling end users to recover data Hornetsecurity has added a new self-service functionality to its backup solution. This allows end users to independently recover their mailbox, OneDrive and OneNote data through the Hornetsecurity User Panel, rather than needing to rely on their IT Administrator to do so for them. This addition saves valuable administrator time while empowering end users. End users can now select and recover selected objects or all the data contained within their mailbox, OneDrive account and OneNote as needed. This data is searchable and easily restored, making the process simple for those without formal IT training. Backup service for Microsoft 365 Daniel Hofmann, CEO of Hornetsecurity, commented: "So far, Microsoft 365 end-users have not been able to directly access backup data from their Mailbox, OneDrive accounts and OneNote, making them dependent on authorised administrators whenever they needed to restore their data." "We've therefore enhanced our backup service for Microsoft 365 by introducing self-service support for end users. As handling restore requests for end users is a time-intensive task for admins, this update frees them up for more mission-critical tasks while empowering end users." Backup and recovery support for OneNote Broader scope of protection adds to the existing backup and recovery capabilities in 365 Total Backup The solution now also includes Microsoft OneNote backup and recovery, enabling Hornetsecurity partners and customers to automatically back up their OneNote notebooks without having to rely on manual data protection methods. This adds another layer of data protection to organisations, allowing them to easily back up and restore the valuable information stored within OneNote notebooks. This broader scope of protection adds to the existing backup and recovery capabilities in 365 Total Backup and 365 Total Protection, offering enhanced data recovery options across essential M365 applications, such as Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams. Hornetsecurity's comprehensive data protection Along with the self-service component, this enhancement is a free update and follows the recent addition of backup and recovery for Microsoft Planner, further strengthening Hornetsecurity's comprehensive data protection suite to ensure critical business data is secure and easily accessible. Daniel Hofmann, CEO of Hornetsecurity, said: "These enhancements underscore our dedication to continually evolving our offerings to meet the needs of our partners and customers, easing the load on administrators while setting their minds at rest, and ensuring that critical data remains secure and easily recoverable."

DMARC Manager by Hornetsecurity: Boost email security

Hornetsecurity, a global pioneer in cybersecurity solutions, is excited to announce the launch of its DMARC Manager. The advanced tool addresses the complex challenges organisations face in managing DMARC, DKIM, and SPF configurations, especially for those operating across multiple domains. As email threats such as fraud and impersonation attacks continue to rise, the need for robust email authentication practices has never been more critical. DMARC Manager is designed to empower administrators and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) by providing an intuitive solution for setting up and maintaining best practices in email authentication. Simplifying management and protection Users gain access to detailed analysis and aggregated reports from DMARC data The new product aims to simplify best practices in email security. After onboarding and adding the different DNS entries for DMARC, SPF, DKIM, all further DNS entries can be added directly in the product without having to do it every time in the DNS records. It provides advanced reporting and analytics, so users gain access to detailed analysis and aggregated reports from DMARC data, enabling better management of outgoing email traffic. DMARC Manager To help prevent fraud, impersonation and phishing attacks, DMARC Manager also identifies suspicious activities, such as unauthorised email traffic being sent in the name of the user's domains. It features increased visibility and control over sending sources, so administrators can discover shadow IT by identifying all email-sending entities associated with their domains, enhancing overall security posture. Bulk email campaigns It increases brand visibility and reliability and gives users an edge in their email efforts Lastly, it provides enhanced brand protection by using Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI), so organisations display their brand logos in email messages to recipients' inboxes.  It increases brand visibility and trustworthiness, and gives users an edge in their email marketing efforts, increasing the efficiency and success of their bulk email campaigns. Security administrators and CISOs Daniel Hofmann, CEO of Hornetsecurity, says: "Our goal is to ease the pain and pressure-points of our partners and customers. Hornetsecurity's 365 Total Protection Hofmann added: "This new product provides a comprehensive approach to mitigate risks and ensure trustworthy email communication." DMARC Manager is included as part of Hornetsecurity's 365 Total Protection and is also available as an add-on to its Spam and Malware Protection service. It is also being offered as a standalone product, providing flexible options for organisations of all sizes.

Hornetsecurity's new 365 Multi-Tenant Manager for MSPs

Hornetsecurity, a global pioneer in cybersecurity, announced the release of its innovative 365 Multi-Tenant Manager for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The new solution will significantly reduce the time and resources MSPs need to manage Microsoft 365 (M365) tenants, saving up to 80% of management and onboarding time for each tenant. This will help boost productivity and profitability for MSPs. Customers' M365 environments More clients have diverse needs which can be overwhelming for MSPs to stay on top of Managing M365 tenants has traditionally been a complex and resource-intensive task, with MSPs spending hours navigating multiple Microsoft portals to configure customers' M365 environments: Hornetsecurity research shows that, on average, MSPs spend 12 hours for each new tenant onboarding and three hours per customer per month managing customers' M365 environments.  The intricate nature of these tenants, alongside the need for strict security measures and compliance with regulations such as GDPR, is time-intensive and expensive. Additionally, customers have diverse needs which can be overwhelming for MSPs to stay on top of. M365 tenant management Daniel Hofmann, CEO of Hornetsecurity, commented: "Hornetsecurity is committed to innovation and proactively responding to our customers' changing needs. We have listened to our Partners and developed a concrete solution to one of their biggest pain points: the onboarding, governance and compliance of their Microsoft 365 tenants." "Our new 365 Multi-Tenant Manager for MSPs will redefine M365 tenant management, enabling MSPs to streamline and centralise the management of multiple tenants from one central platform." New tenant onboardings Hofmann added: "This new product empowers MSPs to elevate their operational efficiency and service quality to new heights, helping them with customer retention." "It will also speed up and standardise new tenant onboardings, freeing up MSPs time and resources for mission-critical tasks. Our calculations show the average MSP will save 80% of their time for management and onboarding of existing and new customers – the equivalent of an employee's full-time workload over a year; and the more customers an MSP has, the higher this saving will be."
