Honeywell is showcasing key security technologies from both the Honeywell Commercial Security and Access Solutions brands during the 2024 Global Security Exchange (GSX) September 23 - 25 in Orlando. This work supports Honeywell’s portfolio alignment around three compelling megatrends, including automation. Automated incident workflows Featured security technologies include: Increased situational awareness and access control: Honeywell Pro-Watch 6.5.1, the latest version of the Honeywell Pro-Watch Integrated Security Suite, provides automated incident workflows and system health dashboards to further help reduce operational costs and enable stronger compliance needed for highly regulated industries. Expanded wireless door lock integrations: The latest Pro-Watch iteration provides increased integration capabilities with ASSA Abloy Aperio and Allegion electronic locks, allowing operators increased real-time control of locks. They can also receive updates and alerts including lock down, remote opening, scheduling and audit/alarm. Open credentialing standards Expanded door reader options: The Honeywell BlueDiamond platform offers a complete, next-generation access control experience with multi-technology readers and a feature-rich mobile app. These multi-technology readers are among the most versatile access control readers on the market, and they work seamlessly with existing infrastructure and leverage open credentialing standards. They are non-proprietary and system agnostic. Increased control with a scalable video system: MAXPRO VMS R790 allows users to control, collect, manage and present multiple video sources via a highly scalable system that can support video networks ranging from single instances in a small- to medium-sized building to thousands of devices across an enterprise. Increased value for enterprise customers: LenelS2 OnGuard 8.3 is the continuation of the transformation of the OnGuard system to a fully browser-based environment with improved controller management and tighter integration with the Milestone XProtect video management system. Solution updates include: native support for the latest Mercury M-Series controllers; lockdown via logical groups; browser-based access levels and time zone/holiday management; and the ability to update access controller passwords directly from the OnGuard system. Potential future threats Expanded access to Honeywell cameras: LenelS2 customers can now purchase integrated Honeywell cameras designed to meet a wide range of commercial and enterprise needs. Enhanced cybersecurity readiness: The LenelS2 Cybersecurity Assessment systematically identifies and remediates existing vulnerabilities in the physical access security system and operational technology, while also helping to strengthen businesses’ cybersecurity posture against potential future threats. The impact of the Cybersecurity Assessment is enhanced using the Honeywell Cyber Insights monitoring tool, which proactively monitors an entire system for new areas of vulnerability. Greater usability, functionality, security, and integration: LenelS2 NetBox 6.0 offers a variety of feature advancements, including an all-new navigation experience, Mercury MP board support in legacy mode, new dashboard widgets and API integrations, native integration with BlueDiamond NFC mobile credentials enabling the use of employee badges via Apple Wallet.
