Bob Dolan

Director of Technogy Security Solutions, Anixter International Inc.

Bob Dolan is the Director of Technology for Security Solutions at Anixter. He brings with him over 29 years of sales, management, and technical experience in the physical security industry. After working with end-users and integrators for many years, Bob earned his RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification from BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Standards International) in 2009 and his CPP (Certified Protection Professional) from ASIS in 2012. In January, 2014, Bob took over the role in the ONVIF Technical Services Committee for which Anixter has held a position since Anixter first joined ONVIF in 2009. Bob continues to be the voice of the customer on this committee and shares with the team various integrator and end user comments and concerns as applicable to discussed topics. In January, 2016, he took on the role of vice-chairman of the ONVIF Technical Services Committee and supports the team as necessary. In his current role, he is responsible for working with manufacturers and other standards groups for the continued education of customers, manufacturers, and the Anixter team. He is also responsible for leading Anixter’s physical security-focused testing at the Anixter Infrastructure Solutions Lab to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
