Help your customers make savings with the Energy saving reader from Paxton
Product Profile
The Energy saving reader helps facilities managers to reduce expenditure on energy by guaranteeing that lights and air conditioning switch off when not in use.
Compatible with Switch2 and Net2, the energy saving reader's cover is designed to retain a user's proximity card. When a card is placed in the reader, its presence toggles a relay that allows connected equipment to be switched on. Unlike other readers the Energy saving reader continues to check for an authorised card; all the time one is present equipment will remain on.
When a card is removed the relay toggles back and turns any connected equipment off. Savings are guaranteed because personnel require their cards to unlock doors around an access controlled site.
Companies that already have a Net2 access control system will benefit from introducing the reader to all office, meeting, function and conferencing facilities where lights and air conditioning contribute to expensive energy bills.
The energy saving reader can also help a site adhere to strict health and safety guidelines. When fitted to hazardous machinery, the use of such equipment can be restricted to authorised card holders only.
- Offer customers something different: Help save your customers money
- Safety: Restrict the use of hazardous machinery to authorised users
Other applications
- Flood/sports lights
- Fork lift trucks and works vehicles
