Panasonic’s staggeringly small WJ-ND200 Network Disk Recorder

The HDD recorder is a secure and user-friendly recorder designed specifically for surveillance purposes. For high reliability, the WJ-ND200 supports disk mirroring; enabling image data to be stored in another HDD unit should one HDD unit fail, ensuring no moment is missed and all imagery is continuously backed up. This also means one doesn't have to worry about erasing image data due to mistaken operations or system failure as the robust design of both the main unit and the individual HDD units safeguards the data. 

The unit also enables you to limit access to the recorder by setting user names and passwords to restrict access to data and information. Furthermore, by activating the host authentication function, it is possible to block operations from unregistered IP addresses,keeping the recorder and all its data completely secure from those not authorised to view it. 

The WJ-ND200 offers comfortable functionality and high reliability, different from conventional PC based recorders. For easy data transport, the WJ-ND200 means there is no longer any need to stop recording to copy images to a CD or DVD. This unit enables you to simply detach the HDD components by opening the front panel and removing them easily. You can then carry the components anywhere, allowing the recorded images to be viewed via a Serial ATA/USB2.0 adapter by third parties, such as the police, providing a vital tool in crime investigation procedures.
