Peter Lalor has been announced as Managing Director of VPS Site Security, the UK-wide security specialist for construction, remote sites, utilities, rail and road builders. Peter joins them from the Ursa Group, an integrated security technology and services company operating in Africa.     

"Peter's background in security operations stems from 14 years in the British Army Intelligence Corps and he brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the integration of security systems to protect people, assets and infrastructure." says Ian Nisbet, Managing Director of VPS Group. 

Peter has worked across Africa and the Middle East for much of his career, in a wide range of business leadership roles. He established EITZ in Tanzania, overseeing all aspects of the strategy, operations, customer development and logistics. In addition to a long period as a Vice President with Dubai-based international security consultants The Olive Group, Peter was also head of QinetiQ's Oil & Gas Security Division.
