Vicon Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of Cemtrex Inc., designer and manufacturer of video surveillance and access control software, hardware, and components, is set to exhibit at ISC West 2022 which will be held from March 22 to March 25, 2022, at the Venetian Expo, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Attendees are warmly invited to visit the company, at booth #7083, at ISC West 2022 the exhibition venue. The Vicon exhibit will focus on Vicon’s centralised video management, access control, and licence plate recognition solutions.

Vicon’s security solutions on exhibit

With the latest releases of their Valerus VMS, VAX Access Control, and their upcoming LPR cameras, Vicon now offers a single interface through which operators can monitor live events, respond to alarms and search for events within every aspect of their security operation.

Our comprehensive view of information on a centralised platform helps integrators save on costs"

Many security operations include access control, cameras, Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) and video,” said Cemtrex’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Saagar Govil, adding “But, rarely are they united into a single interface. Having data and systems spread across numerous platforms makes it extremely difficult and time-consuming to see a bird’s eye view of all security information.

He adds, “One of our major differentiators is that Vicon offers a complete solution with the ability to monitor LPR, access control, and video management all from Valerus. Our comprehensive view of information on a centralised platform helps integrators save on costs, and gives end-users a singular place for alarms, making responses faster, more manageable, and easier to report upon.

Valerus Video Management System (VMS)

Saagar Govil continues, “The Valerus Video Management System (VMS) is the cornerstone of this system, and our newest release to be launched in a few weeks further integrates the framework that provides the foundation to platform centralisation. ISC West brings together every segment of the security industry, and we look forward to showcasing our innovative technology at this year’s event.

Vicon has evolved significantly since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and ISC West 2022 will be the first major event showcasing many of their new products, new hires, and their fully integrated security platform. Over the last two years, Vicon Industries, Inc. has launched over 15 new products, hired numerous high-level industry veterans, and maintained inventory of many security cameras during a global supply chain crisis. Vicon will be showcasing many of these products at the event and discussing their aggressive product roadmap for 2022-2023.

The Vicon booth at ISC West 2022

ISC West attendees are invited to come to meet Vicon’s key new players, hear about the things they've been working on, and discover the latest technologies addressing some of the industry’s biggest challenges.

This includes the company’s latest product launches, such as:

  • Valerus VMS - The latest Valerus updates are the cornerstone of Vicon’s centralised platform. They have built an integration framework for LPR and access control systems, allowing users to monitor and manage alarms from a single interface. Other features include the ability to map to external storage devices and locations. Users can then automatically archive video and data whenever, wherever, and however, they prefer.
  • Roughneck PRO 32 MP Multi-Sensor - Vicon continues its commitment to innovation by introducing a 32 MP version of the leading-edge Roughneck Pro Multi-Sensor Series. A single 32 MP Multi-Sensor (with a single IP address and cable) replaces four separate 4K cameras, at a fraction of the cost. This also reduces the time and expense of installation, setup, tuning, and maintenance. It is one of the industry’s first remote positing multi-sensors with adjustable 4K lenses.
  • VAX Access Control - The latest release focuses heavily on improving useability, helping customers to improve focus, adapt to new locations faster, and centralise their access control and VMS systems for a more seamless interface between VAX and Valerus. And for customers who require a higher level of cyber security, the new Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) supports end-to-end encryption between the reader and the panel.
  • Shadow Elite Servers - These new servers are bundled with the Microsoft Windows Operating System and Vicon software, in order to offer customers with a single interface to manage their entire video surveillance infrastructure. And, it’s all pre-installed on a Dell Server, pre-tested, and certified for plug-and-play operation out-of-the-box. The recording servers communicate, stream, and record video and audio from the edge devices. The application servers centrally manage the system, run the webserver, and service the web clients. For a powerful user interface, the client workstations run Valerus VMS in a web browser.
