Viakoo, the award-winning provider of service assurance and network edge device management solutions for physical security systems, is featuring a number of new company initiatives for the convergence of cyber-physical security at ISC West 2023, March 29-31 in Las Vegas.
Viakoo’s existing range of service assurance and cyber hygiene management solutions will also be available for demonstration alongside new advancements at booth #32047.
Physical security systems
“In today’s world, it is more important than ever for cyber and physical security teams to work together to effectively reduce risk and stop threats across an enterprise,” said Bud Broomhead, CEO, Viakoo. “Our new solutions and partnerships address this need by promoting automation, device integrity, and cyber hygiene among an ever-expanding customer base. We are excited to discuss the wider implications of such developments at this year’s ISC West.”
DPM verifies that IoT devices are not using default or commonly used passwords
Among the Viakoo solutions being featured at ISC West 2023 is the Viakoo Device Password Manager (DPM). DPM automates the verification of password and password policies at scale for thousands of IoT devices. DPM verifies that IoT devices are not using default or commonly used passwords and reports status of device passwords across the network, automating the process of meeting password compliance against many industry standards, to ensure enterprise password governance and promote proper cyber-physical security hygiene.
Meeting password compliance
DPM is a module of the Viakoo Action Platform™ that together deliver full remediation and repatriation of IoT devices to complete an enterprise IoT security solution.
Additionally, ISC West attendees are invited to receive a demonstration of the Viakoo Service Assurance Manager (SAM) solution for reducing downtime of IoT security systems such as video and access control. The SAM platform is a first of its kind solution designed to automatically confirm that a network’s physical security devices are operating properly and continuously. Unlike IT monitors, individual device ‘self-test health checks’, video content managers, and proprietary device management systems that don’t scale, SAM automates many operational processes, diagnosing problems and providing security administrators with a plan to fix any identified issues.
