Vanderbilt’s SPC Connect has been nominated for a GIT Security Award. The German publication has nominated SPC Connect in its ‘Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Perimeter Protection’ category.

SPC Connect was nominated by a neutral jury based on a breakdown of innovation, use cases, and unique selling points. Voting is open until 24 August 2018 and the product with the most votes will be announced the winner.

SPC Connect is a hosted cloud-based solution designed specifically for installers to monitor, manage, and maintain SPC panels remotely from any location.

Configuring systems remotely

With SPC Connect's latest features, an installer can send targeted messages, such as promotional offers, via push notification or email. The feature is highly refined, with installers having the choice of which system users receive the message, such as panel managers. Messages can be broken down into specific groups, regions, or user levels.

SPC Connect is designed to enhance the installer’s ability to configure their systems remotely and with user management enhancements, SPC Connect speeds up the process of adding and configuring users. It means that the system administrator can quickly configure users to have access to their SPC system, while simultaneously saving them time and money.
