July is well upon us, which means it’s time for a new product version release. Stay up to date on what’s new in Vaion’s vcore video management system, from the ability to stream Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) and Real Time Streaming Protocol over SSL (RTSPS) to external systems, to refining person searches, by choosing between male and female. Let’s get to it.
View RTSP and RTSPS streams
We know how important it is for customers to ensure continuity of their existing systems and devices when they adopt new, smarter security solutions. Strengthening our position as an open video surveillance system, we make it possible for users to pull either live streams or historical video from vcore using either RTSP or RTSPS (Real Time Streaming Protocol over TLS/SSL).
Security managers and admins can now stream video to external viewers, or integrate vcore with PSIM solutions
Security managers and administrators can now stream video to external viewers, or integrate vcore with existing monitoring and PSIM solutions. In addition, security is built-in, with control over who can stream, and what they can stream. Learn more about how to configure the vcore deployment to allow RTSP streams from the documentation portal.
Refine searching by person
We’re committed to making searching more accurate, rapid, and efficient, so we’ve added gender as a criterion for person searching. Watch how fast it is to get relevant footage by choosing female or male in your person search parameters.
Other features in the latest release include:
- The ability to add multiple servers in a server group
- The ability to configure dewarp settings for 3rd-party panoramic cameras
