We experienced a dramatic shift not only in our industry but as a culture"

Morgan Hertel adds, “My first honouree was one of them. I’ve worked with this person since I began in the security industry. She’s always stood out in my mind. In the past three years, this person has worked tirelessly as the chair of TMA’s UL Committee. It is not an easy job, by any means.”

I appreciate this award,” stated Ostrowski in her acceptance remarks, adding “As Morgan stated, we experienced a dramatic shift not only in our industry but as a culture. I’ve had the great fortune to work with a wonderful team of professionals comprised of both TMA members and UL Solutions.”

Educational Agenda

The second 2022 Mel Mahler Award was presented to Brady who has long served as TMA’s Education Committee Chair. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with this honouree for 10 years. During that time, I witnessed his extraordinary dedication to TMA, its members, and the industry at large. He is always at-the-ready to assist and support when called upon. And he gets things done!

Having known and worked with Mel Mahler for many years, it is my privilege to receive an award named in his honour,” stated Brady, adding, “It has also been a privilege to be able to work with the TMA team and organisation over the years to provide and improve the Educational Agenda.”
