Teleste Corporation, a provider of video and broadband technologies and related services, announced that at InnoTrans 2016, the company will introduce a new service concept targeted to its customers within the rail industry. The new concept, called Teleste Care for Rail, sharpens their service portfolio and focuses on meeting the needs of the rail industry even more inclusively than before. The concept takes a lifetime approach to maintenance and continuous development of rail solutions, and it includes versatile service options targeted both at securing every day operations and solving the challenges of future system upgrades.
Maximised passenger experience
"In public transportation systems, vehicle availability and maximised passenger experience are very important factors for the operators. As passengers demand 24/7 service, operators are faced by the challenge to quickly react to any signs of maintenance need. In addition, there are growing needs to continuously develop passengers traveling experience", said Pekka Vänni, Service Director for Mitron Oy—a Teleste company. "We are pleased to bring to market the Teleste Care for Rail service concept that helps our rail customers tackle these challenges and adopt easily to future needs by smart thinking, state-of-the-art technology, and profound understanding of the industry's requirements."
Excellent customer service
Teleste Care for Rail brings Teleste's experts at the customers' service on every step of the way, from the first install of their solution to the end of its entire lifecycle. The concept allows the customers to choose from the wide service offerings and services modules that meet their needs best, and—when the needs change—the service agreement can be flexibly adopted to the new requirements. The target is to deliver customers services based on their actual need, and let them enjoy peace of mind knowing that everything is in order.
