TeleEye, a supplier in video surveillance systems, announces the introduction of a 360° fisheye camera to their extensive camera product line. The MP5061E Fisheye Camera adopts 6MP Sony CMOS sensor and features 180° horizontal viewing angle and 360° round viewing angle, providing continuous monitoring, overseeing security concerns and managing customer traffic. Thi fisheye camera also integrates with different professional video management application including TeleEye GN8 series DVR, sureSIGHT, sureGUARD and iView HD. Users can monitor their sites in real-time through different platforms and video will be automatically adjusted to seamlessly fit into any video management platform. Plus, users can follow objects and actions in 4 regional views through Pan, Tile and Zoom (PTZ) functionality for greater freedom of monitoring view.

Coverage of four fixed cameras

Fisheye cameras can provide a wide angle instead of four conventional fixed cameras. In other words, fisheye cameras can save installation cost, cabling and license fee. Conventional fixed cameras cannot cover some blind spots, but fisheye cameras can offer 360° coverage without missing any corners.

Pan, tile and zoom functionality

The MP5061E Fisheye Camera provides remote direction and zoom control with its PTZ functionality. Users can remotely control every display and survey corners without the need to physically operate the direction of the camera and the position of the lens.

The MP5061E Fisheye Camera can provide improved surveillance and a better situational awareness

Four different angle images

Compared to four conventional fixed cameras pointed at a specific area, the MP5061E camera can provide images from four different angles (a wide view and three different PTZ views) to simultaneously monitor three corners and view the full picture of a room. Plus, users can manually adjust the angles through PTZ functionality. The MP5061E Fisheye Camera can provide improved surveillance and a better situational awareness.

PTZ for real-time and playback mode

PTZ camera functionality does not apply only for real-time surveillance, it can also be used in playback mode. With TeleEye’s software or mobile phone app, users can recall missing images at any time. Even if they miss out the image in real-time, they can playback and use PTZ view to regain important images in playback mode.

The MP5061E Fisheye Camera seamlessly integrates with different video management platforms like TeleEye GN8 series DVR, sureSIGHT, sureGUARD and iViewHD
