Suprema, a pioneer in access control, biometrics and time & attendance solutions, announces that their BioStar 2 platform acquired ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications, internationally recognised privacy information and security standard.

ISO 27001 ensures that appropriate measures are in place for data protection and management of information. ISO 27701, first established in August last year, is granted to systems compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other similar legislations like California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Both certifications are published and managed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
