StoneLock, a global provider of designing and manufacturing biometric access control and identity management solutions, announced the launch of the company’s newest innovative solution — StoneLock Gateway — a complete biometric-centric credentialling and identity management solution.

With the addition of the StoneLock Gateway, StoneLock now provides an enterprise biometrics solution that delivers scalability, high availability, seamless functionality and traceability across multiple simultaneously connected physical access control systems (PACs), enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs) and other external system integrations capable of providing credentialing data or desiring to monitor activity. As enterprises expand and adopt biometric solutions, StoneLock Gateway provides a seamless identity management solution that overcomes limitations with traditional PAC systems that do not allow for the full functionality and power of a biometric device.

Enterprise-level access control solution

“StoneLock was founded on the principle of delivering innovative, advanced biometric solutions that meet the demands and needs of enterprise-level access control, while breaking down barriers that stagnated adoption of biometrics and security performance,” said StoneLock CEO and Co-Founder Colleen Dunlap. “With the introduction of StoneLock Gateway, we are pleased to provide our trusted partners and companies with a scalable, high availability framework solution that delivers increased biometric identity management capability along with flexibility and ease of use. As our customer’s security needs evolve, StoneLock Gateway will offer the necessary versatility to connect to their external security systems already in place.”

With StoneLock Gateway, enterprises can seamlessly integrate multiple globally distributed systems while clustering numerous StoneLock Gateways to provide a truly enterprise-ready solution for complete identity management. Each StoneLock Gateway includes a web client capable of managing the solution from either a PC or mobile device.

Biometric access control software as a service

“The notion of software as a service for biometric access control was unattainable without the development of an integrating component like StoneLock Gateway and we are excited to be expanding the versatility of our offering to satisfy our customer’s growing credentialing needs,” said James Trani, Chief Technology Officer at StoneLock. "This growth of our solution through StoneLock Gateway is key to the continued adoption of biometrics as the core solution in satisfying credentialing requirements.”

As a trusted partner for more than a third of the Fortune 100 companies, StoneLock is committed to the continuous investment and advancement of biometric-centric security solutions. StoneLock will continue to expand its offering in 2018 to meet the growing demand for biometric-centric security solutions and deliver both standalone products and seamless integrations for improved identity management and access control.

At ASIS, StoneLock Gateway will be showcased in StoneLock’s exhibitor space at Booth #4455.
