IACLEA announced recently that STANLEY Security, a leading global manufacturer and integrator of comprehensive security solutions for a wide range of industries, and IACLEA Corporate Partner, has committed to supporting IACLEA’s association programmes in 2016, including new Executive Development Scholarship opportunities and a premier sponsorship of the Annual Conference.

STANLEY Security’s overall commitment and ongoing relationship supports the implementation of the Association’s strategic initiatives; to further its educational mission, and to enhance the ability of campus public safety agencies to protect institutions of higher education.

“We are grateful to STANLEY Security for its partnership and commitment to support IACLEA’s mission by helping us provide continued educational resources and professional development services to our members,” Stated William F. Taylor, IACLEA President.

Educating on law enforcement leadership

Specifically, with the enhanced commitment, STANLEY Security is providing ten scholarship opportunities for the 2016 Executive Development Institute (EDI), taking place March 7-10, at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. The EDI is designed to train current and newly appointed executives on law enforcement leadership and management topics pertaining to a campus environment. Additionally, STANLEY Security will help support special events as a major sponsor at the 2016 IACLEA Annual Conference & Exposition, the premier meeting for campus public safety leaders, scheduled for June 24-27 in Phoenix, Arizona.

As the Annual Conference Host Institution, Arizona State University Police Department coordinates all aspects of the special events, including the Host Reception, Golf Scramble, and 5k Law Enforcement Torch Run.

“STANLEY Security is already a fantastic partner with Arizona State University in making our campus’s safer,” said Michael Thompson, ASU Chief of Police. “We are thankful for their gracious support of EDI and the IACLEA Annual Conference, which are both being hosted in Arizona this year; it certainly speaks to their dedication to campus safety.”

"We believe in the core of IACLEA’s mission, and the importance of taking an integral role in establishing a longstanding culture of safety on campuses across the country", says Kyle Gordon, VP Campus Solutions, STANLEY Security

“Partnering with IACLEA, both nationally and locally, is an important endeavour for STANLEY Security as we are actively engaged with giving back to the community that gives so much to us,” stated Kyle Gordon, Vice President Campus Solutions. “We believe in the core of IACLEA’s mission, and the importance of taking an integral role in establishing a longstanding culture of safety on campuses across the country. We are more than happy to continue our support to this organisation and campuses as a whole.”
