Southwest Microwave is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Michelle Roe as President. Ms. Roe succeeds Mr. Richard McCormick, who has transitioned to Chairman and CEO. “It is my distinct pleasure to announce the promotion of Michelle Roe to President. I am confident that under Michelle’s leadership, Southwest Microwave will continue to grow worldwide, develop industry-leading technologies and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction,” says Mr. McCormick

In her new role, Ms. Roe will oversee international operations of both the Security Systems and Microwave Products Divisions. While Southwest Microwave's leadership has changed, the rest of the organization remains unaltered and clients will continue to receive quality support from the same trusted team of perimeter security professionals.

Ms. Roe began at Southwest Microwave as Controller in 2010 and was later promoted to Director and CFO in 2016. She has been instrumental in guiding the continuing success of the organization with initiatives that have reduced company expenditures while improving profitability and operational efficiencies.

Ms. Michelle Roe has also held financial leadership roles working in the communications and financial sectors

Through her 25 years of experience in finance and business management, Ms. Roe has served as General Manager of a global aviation parts distributor. She has also held financial leadership roles working in the communications and financial sectors, including a Fortune 500 professional services firm.

A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Roe holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida.
