For the first time, the Foushée Group’s total cash compensation information report will be readily available to security practitioners to so they can ascertain if they are paid competitively.

The Foushée Group, which creates the only compensation research report for security positions, became a Security Executive Council (SEC) strategic alliance partner in 2005 and has worked with the SEC since 2002.

Now, the two organisations are announcing a significantly expanded initiative in response to HR and compensation professionals’ efforts to move pay transparency to mainstream compensation practices.

This includes transparency of market compensation for professionals in existing positions and job applicants.

To inform compensation decisions

The Foushée Group’s Security and Compliance Compensation Survey Report is typically marketed to compensation managers, who provide survey data and use the results to inform compensation decisions in their organisations.

The SEC is offering the 2022 report to interested security practitioners, along with a one-sheet guide to help security pioneers have a discussion with their compensation department.

The SEC will also assist in adding new job titles in areas such as business analysis and global security operations centre staff and management.

It details compensation for 78 executive, management, professional and technical security positions. Only official, verified compensation files are accepted.

The survey and report adhere to both the spirit and the letter of the U.S Department of Justice’s Safe harbour Guidelines for appropriate and legal collection and reporting of compensation data.
