SDN provides a no-risk proposition for alarm dealers to expand their business models and revenue potential

DragonFly allows alarm dealers to capitalise on the growing DIY video surveillance trend

Security Dealer Network (SDN) offers alarm dealers the opportunity to become part of an innovative and unique sales network offering DragonFly™ DIY video surveillance and monitoring services. Unlike most new business initiatives, dealers can participate without any start-up or recurring costs when joining SDN’s dealer network, and generate a new stream of Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR) by simply marketing DragonFly DIY video surveillance and monitoring to existing and new customers.

Capitalising on DIY video surveillance

“DragonFly allows alarm dealers to capitalise on the growing DIY video surveillance trend without the need to make any capital investment other than promoting the offering directly to potential customers,” said Bart Didden, President, Security Dealer Network. “All they need to do is sign up and promote DragonFly – we provide the marketing tools, a branded internet landing page, an ecommerce website for customer transactions, the powerful DragonFly smartphone app and the video monitoring services. It’s a no-risk proposition that enables dealers to get a share of the DIY market that would otherwise be lost to them.”

SDN provides a no-risk proposition for alarm dealers to expand their business models and revenue potential. End-users make all purchases and monitoring arrangements via a powerful on-line ecommerce platform, and dealers have no direct interaction with customers other than to drive them to the site (www.getDragonFly.com).

SDN reseller partners are provided with individual websites which are built, branded and targeted to consumers with DragonFly’s extensive marketing and messaging. Using SDN’s ecommerce platform, consumers purchase video surveillance products directly through the website. DragonFly-branded video products are shipped directly to consumers for free, and SDN provides the central station monitoring. Dealers simply promote DragonFly and receive RMR generated by the consumers’ monthly monitoring fees. No sales, installation, service or billing operations are required on the part of dealers.

View multiple cameras with the DragonFly smartphone app

“DragonFly offers dealers capabilities that conventional DIY video systems simply do not – central station monitoring,” continued Mr. Didden. “DragonFly lets consumers and small business owners view multiple cameras through the DragonFly smartphone app with the confidence of knowing that their cameras are being monitored by security professionals.”

For consumers, DragonFly is equally simple. A variety of video surveillance cameras and monitoring plans are available to suit users’ budgets and needs. Cameras are wireless and battery-operated and can be easily placed inside or outside by consumers with virtually no prior installation knowledge. The system can be viewed and multiple actions executed via the DragonFly smartphone app, including all programming functions, alarm notifications and police dispatch.

“We know that professional security and alarm dealers are looking for cost-efficient means of building their businesses, and DragonFly fills that void without them having to make any real capital investment,” said Mr. Didden. “The DragonFly DIY video surveillance and monitoring business proposition will help dealers increase revenues rather than erode them.”
