Saudi Arabia’s leading security, fire and safety workshops and exhibition will return in May 2016. The renowned event will be taking place from the 16-18 May 2016 at The Dhahran International Exhibitions Center, Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Safety & Security Forum and Exhibition, annually attracts industries from the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, the industrial hub for the Middle East region. Launched in 2011, SSS Arabia has combined an international exhibition and workshops to serve this hugely important industry for the Middle East.

Risk assessment, infrastructure security and fire protection

The three day event will consist of a workshop-led programme, covering a wide spectrum of the security and safety sectors. Themes include the management of national security and its implications to industrial security, management of cyber security for critical infrastructure, security for offshore platforms and the shipping industry in the Arabian Gulf and more. SSS 2016 will play host to the rapidly growing Saudi security market with focus on issues such as risk assessment, infrastructure security and fire protection.

SSS 2016 will also feature an international exhibition alongside the workshops, showcasing pioneering technologies and products within the industry. The event has already received an unpreceded level of interest, and SABIC will be supporting as Principal sponsor, and confirmed 2016 Bronze Sponsors include RASID, Bitram and NAFISCO. With over 2,000 visitors expected, the SSS 2016 exhibition will offer abundant opportunities for networking with private companies offering solutions in the fire, safety and security space.

Security and defence key areas for future investment

Saudi Arabia has become one of the world's fastest growing markets for safety and security solutions and continues to have a high budget of spending within the security services sector. The Kingdom recognises security and defence as key areas for future investment. The Saudi Arabian government has allocated 213 billion Riyals for security spending according to the 2016 budget plan.

This year’s event is supported by IOSH, the chartered body for health and safety practitioners, the Ministry of Health, UL, the global independent safety Science Company and SPFE, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. The Embassy of Czech Republic, Riyadh will also be supporting with an International Pavilion. SSS 2016 provides a platform to unveil the full spectrum of the latest products, and the future industry trends in Saudi Arabia and is the leading Saudi Safety & Security to attend in the region.
