Sargent and Greenleaf (S&G), a subsidiary of STANLEY Security and a manufacturer of high security locks and locking systems for safes, vaults and high-security cabinets, has appointed Keith Deaton to Chief Operating Officer.
Exceeding business objectives
Deaton joined STANLEY Security’s finance team in 2010, and, most recently, served as S&G’s Chief Financial Officer and interim CFO (Canada). In the security industry since 2005, Deaton brings substantial experience to his new role, and will assume the responsibilities previously managed by Brian Leary. As COO, Deaton will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day operational management for Sargent and Greenleaf, guiding the company to exceed its business objectives.
“We are proud to welcome Keith into a new role within the S&G executive team,” said Jeremy Morton, President, STANLEY Access Technologies. “His extensive industry knowledge will help to further S&G’s long-standing reputation as a trustworthy and dependable manufacturer of high-security products.”
Asset security with developing technology
“My years of experience with S&G have primed me to lead this team into the next phase of successes and achievements,” states Deaton. “As technology evolves, S&G will continue to provide products that secure our customers’ most valuable assets.”
Deaton graduated from Murray State University before attending the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he graduated with an MBA in Finance and Operations Management.
