Reliance High-Tech, an independent security technology integrator, has announced the appointment of Tom Clarke to its senior management team. As the company’s sales director, Clarke will aim to grow the business and promote the unique advantages of Reliance High-Tech’s specialist services to organisations across the country, in line with the company’s strategic growth plan.

Projects in the security sector

With vast experience of large-scale integration and technology migration projects within the security sector, Clarke joins Reliance High-Tech from Mitie, where he was director of sales for the company’s security services division. This was just one of a number of business development, key account management, major project sales and sales leadership roles he held at Mitie over the course of his 13 year tenure there. His experience also includes spells at BT and Contract Fire & Security.

My career has provided me with a great deal of insight into the specific security needs of customers"

When the opportunity arose to join Reliance High-Tech, Clarke was immediately interested due to the company’s reputation and its focus on highly complex integrated systems and major technology migrations.

Clarke stated: “Reliance High-Tech is exciting to me because it’s a specialist niche integrator, with a strong interest in key technologies and helping customers navigate and gain incremental value through the fast changing and converging landscape of security. My career has provided me with a great deal of insight into the specific security needs of customers in a diverse array of vertical sectors and environments and I believe these attributes will have significant benefits for Reliance High-Tech, which has a forward thinking vision and is dedicated to providing services of unrivalled quality.”

Driving business innovation

Clarke will develop, strengthen and deepen relationships with existing customers, while identifying and forging new partnerships with other organisations that are ready to benefit from the unique value which only a truly integrated security system can realise.

Having someone of his calibre on board is a massive boost for our growth plans and his extensive skills" He said: “By investing heavily in service and innovation, and really listening to the needs of customers to provide value beyond security and drive efficiency, Reliance High-Tech has a great story to tell and great people to tell it. I want to network and find businesses that Reliance High-Tech can help, and make sure the company is working with the very best technology partners to assist customers on their journeys from disparate, siloed security systems to fully integrated IT based solutions.”

Alistair Enser, Reliance High-Tech’s CEO, concluded: “I’m absolutely delighted that Tom is now part of the team. Having someone of his calibre on board is a massive boost for our growth plans and his extensive skills, knowledge and experience will help us in our mission to expand our presence across our target areas. We’ve already got off to a great start and I’m looking forward to working with him as we take Reliance High-Tech to the next level of success.”
